Very Pleased, I thought about which e-reader I was going to choose for about a year and a half. I am sorry I waited so long. If you like collecting text books, novels and the like...this is the product to choose. Black and white-it's the reader's e-reader. Downloads a book in approx. 10 seconds. AMAZINGLY easy on the eyes. I am actually reading more since I received it. review By Laura Cordovano

Love it, There have already been so many excellent reviews that tell what is wonderful about the KDX, I don't think I can add much, but I wanted to get my rating in to show how much I adore mine. I read a lot
of PDFs from work and my KDX displays them beautifully. Easy-to-read ebooks are a terrific bonus! I'm not a very tech-savvy person but everything I need to use on my KDX is easy and clear. I recommend it highly to anyone who asks! review By Book Mom (Maryland)

I'm very happy to use Kindle with lot PDF documents, My first EBook reader is BeBook which is small and when I zoom in the document the format is changed. I'm not happy with this Ebook reader. So, I tried to get a new one with bigger screen and better features. Actually, at first time I decided to buy BeBook I also considered Kindle but that time it did not support PDF file which is my purpose to buy Ebook reader. For this version, Kindle DX, after I bought it I'm very happy but I rate this for four stars because:
  • I live in Bangkok, Thailand, I expected it supports Thai language but Kindle do not. Although this is not my serious problem because most of PDF documents are English language but if it is able to display my language it is better, right? I'm not sure they have my language pack, I'll do search later.
  • For internet connection, most area in Bangkok have 3G network and I expected to get higher speed but it slower than I expect, I think its connect EDGE not 3G.
  • I have another kinds of document such as .CHM and DjVu which the current Kindle version do not support. I have to convert to PDF, the result is not the same as original but I can still read it and it is better than nothing to read :). I expect it will support these types file and I can upgrade firmware in the future.
  • However there are lot of very good features compares with my first one:
  • Font is bigger and clear, I don't need to zoom in or if I need to zoom in the format is not change.
  • Functions, both software and hardware are very good and convenience to use love it.
  • Most of my document are offline and I use it about about 2 or 3 hours a day I can use it about almost 4 weeks without charging.
  • Although Internet speed slower than I expected but not bad and it free!
  • I did search Ebook reader from Internet and compare the features I recommend Kindle for people who would like to have Ebook reader.
Sorry for my poor English and I hope you understand my writing. I just want to share with somebody who want to buy Ebook reader. review By Somporn Sinlapa "Somporn" (Bangkok, Thailand)
